5 Bedroom House in Dauphin Island

MIN 7 night stay per neighborhood covenants. MAX STAY 2 WEEKS. Bookings of longer than 2 weeks will be canceled. MAX guests 12 (day or night). Only registered guests up to 12 total are allowed. All ages, including infants, count towards 12.
Please park outside in the driveway, not in the garage. (max 5 cars - no trailers, boats, or RV's)
Newly remodeled in 2022 - new carpet, new flooring, quartzite countertops, new decor and more! Our family is loving our "new" space and cant wait to share it with our guests!
This beautiful home is located on a cul-de-sac -- just a few minutes walk from the private community beach, swimming pool, tennis courts, and playground. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the ground-floor game room which has a snack kitchen and is adjacent to the outdoor living space with gas grill and outdoor dining area and deck overlooking the dunes. The ground-floor also features a queen bedroom and bath. The main floor is the main gathering area. The spacious dining table is ideal for family meals and games; and the comfortable living area is adjacent to the screened porch and open kitchen. A queen bedroom has private access to the shared hall bath and a bunk room with two sets of bunk beds completes this floor. The third floor features a newly decorated king (Tuft and Needle mattress) bedroom with private screened porch access and beautiful views, a queen bedroom, and a shared hall bath. We also provide a porta-crib, please bring your own sheets for baby!
Please note our home rents to a maximum of 12 guests (day or night) per neighborhood restrictions.
Pets/animals of any kind are Not allowed, And No smoking, inside or out, please.
Amenities include air-conditioning, satellite TV, linens, a washer, dryer, and a gas (barbecue) grill. The full kitchen includes a microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, ice maker, and cooking utensils.
Activities (on site or nearby) include hiking, biking, golfing, tennis, fishing, wildlife viewing, shopping, sightseeing, swimming, boating, sailing, water-skiing, surfing, windsurfing, parasailing, jet-skiing, and shelling. Also close by are restaurants and museums.
There's a lot to do on Dauphin Island! Visit the Dauphin Island SeaLab and Estuarium, Fort Gaines (a historic Civil War fort), and beautiful nearby Bellingrath Gardens. The whole island is a bird sanctuary. And especially during the spring and fall, you can see many different types of birds on their migratory trips.
Charter fishing is great.
You can charter boats for both fishing and sightseeing. Enjoy taking a boat ride to see the historic Sand Island Lighthouse.
You can also take a car ferry ride across Mobile Bay to visit the Gulf Shores area -- with its water parks and outlet malls. There are several seafood restaurants on the island, as well as a fabulous bakery! You can ride bikes on the bike trails which cover most of the island! Bring your own bikes or rent locally.
Our home is just a short drive to Mobile, Alabama, where you can visit many area museums such as the Exploreum Children's Museum or our Mobile Museum of Art. Mobile has a wonderful family-oriented Mardi Gras celebration.

Summary: What a beautiful vacation home - a perfect location for our extended family to gather and reconnect. We spent our days enjoying the beach, cooking together, and playing lots of games! Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at Harmony! The house was well equipped for all 11 of us. It was great to have everyone spread out on different floors and a game/ tv area on the first floor for the grandkids. The beach and the pool were very nice. Especially enjoyed the early morning walks watching the birds and the dolphins! Julie was so easy to work with. Gave us lots of info on the Island and was quick to answer any questions. Just a great experience!

Summary: Location was nice. First time at Dauphin Island. Julie provided a lot of good recommendations. I do feel like there were a lot of “rules” associated with the rental (examples- how to wash the pots & pans, no food on carpet - although there were rugs everywhere - including dining room, etc.)which made us feel slightly paranoid that we were not doing everything correctly, especially since we had younger children with us. Overall the trip was good though and Julie responded promptly if we needed anything.

Summary: It was the perfect house for our large family. There was easy access to the beach, as well as the mainland via the bridge and the ferry. In addition, there were fun things to do for all ages (fishing, aquarium, water park near gulf shores and plenty of souvenir shopping). Our rental home accommodated 8 adults, 3 teenagers and a toddler. It was very spacious with 2 kitchens and 3 bathrooms. Overall, our vacation was fun, relaxing and enjoyable,

Summary: The house was great for our group of 4 families. We were each able to have our own spaces and places to be together. We enjoyed all the outdoor spaces. The grandkids liked the porch early in the morning and the porch on the third level was a great place for rest time. The beach chairs, toys, umbrellas and the wagon and wheelbarrow to takethem to the beach was much appreciated. We enjoyed the pool as well. The outdoor shower was great after being in thr breach. Thank for sharing this wonderful home with us!m

Summary: We were looking for a change of pace this year and the Harmony House was perfect. Great access to the beach and pool; as well as being close to many things, including the Ferry if we wanted to venture to Fort Morgan and Orange Beach/Gulf Shores.

Summary: Our group included four generations of family and everyone had a great time. Lot of spaces gave everyone room to be alone or gather as we wanted, some rode bikes, some swam in the nearby pool, and we often all ended up on the screened in porch after dinner and talked. We went to Lighthouse Bakery, the Sea Lab, rode the ferry, ate at restaurants, and read, read READ. Highly recommend!
